It came to my attention in March that the government had yet again failed to be transparent in it’s dealings. This time on the issue of the Census. A short satirical video documentary with an eye opening vox-pop was produced in response to the situation. The video piece highlighted a certain corporations involvement in the torture of Iraqi civilians as well as its surprising connection to the Irish census. We put it online anonymously and the piece got round to a few thousand people. This is a short excerpt from the beginning of the piece.
